After first use, the 3-Day Houston Museum Pass will expire in 72 hours.
Refund Policy: - If canceled 24 hours after initial purchase date, full refund allowed regardless of purchase month. - If canceled within the same calendar month of purchase date, full refund allowed. - If canceled outside the same calendar month of purchase date, no refund allowed.

📝 Collector Tip
Even when machines are down, the gift shop sells PennyCollector albums, and you might find discounted older HMNS coin books. Machines take bills or card for bulk sets, so no extra quarters needed.

The HMNS houses one of the world’s oldest astrolabes (1554) recovered from a Spanish shipwreck off Padre Island.

There are currently two identical machines:
One located outside the theater / gift shop on the main floor
One located on the observation deck (requires $6 admission to ride up).
Both cost $1 per press (four quarters each). A change machine is nearby, and the monument provides a supply of free pennies for use.

$1.00 each (quarters only, includes free penny).
