Houston Museum of Natural Science General Admission

Houston Museum of Natural Science

Experience a wide variety of fun, informative and exciting adventures for adults and children, including the McGovern Hall of the Americas, Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals, Wiess Energy Hall and the brand new Hall of Paleontology.

Please note, special exhibits require separate admission.

In the interest of public health and safety, and to allow for proper social distancing, HMNS is maintaining a maximum 25% capacity cap on visitors inside the museum at any time. Additionally, staff are monitoring the number of visitors in and out of galleries and other public spaces. If you arrive at the museum and it is at capacity, you will be asked to wait until some visitors exit. Face masks are required for any visitor over the age of 10 years old. HMNS is installing more hand sanitizing stations and instituting heightened cleaning protocols, including frequent environmental cleaning and disinfection of “high-touch” door handles, elevators, and restrooms. HMNS is also implementing cleanliness “patrols” in all exhibition galleries and other public areas that will be disinfecting high touch areas throughout the day and checking that all soap and sanitizer dispensers are full.
